compelling

I have always viewed Cynthia McKinney as a fearless defender of the underdog. It fires me up to see her holding her ground as the arrows fly. Her forward drive when she is outflanked, outnumbered and outgunned borders on martyrdom, and I deeply admire her for it.

This interview, however, is not a show of prowess. It reveals a gentle pair of eyes reflecting upon the vision of a kind and empathetic spirit. It discloses the tender intentions that motivate the hard drive toward justice... it touches upon the personal toll it has taken. I had to choke back a few tears while watching.

While she has been misunderstood and harshly judged at times, neither friend nor heckler will dispute that Cynthia McKinney is a fighter. This interview spells out the reasons why she is a fighter in a very warm, down-to-earth manner. It has left me with a renewed sense of esteem for this gentle lady.

Very Refreshing

Dear "Sister Cynthia"

I am writing because I recently saw on TV where you were at the University of Maryland addressing your case for the presidency. I know about your background from living in Georgia. You have always been someone who believes that America is a "great" country, but through the years it has fallen from "grace" somewhat. I speak as someone who pretty much grow up in America as long as you ( I'm 47 years old) Just slightly younger then you LOL. Anyway we both have learn from growing up how great this country is, but seen the demise with "bickering or self-centered" people running this country to bring us "down" I feel as an american I think we need to "stop" worrying about how or what the rest of the world thinks of us and bring back a sense of resposibilty to our own people. All race included. We need to take care of business at home and make people become more caring and concerned about each other. I not sure when or if ever you'll be able to read this, but I want you to know I think that your honest and blunt candor can make our country see how "foolish" it is to run a county like it has been run. Best of luck on your run and who know maybe we can bring this country back. Thank you in advance for all your time.
